Acappella Singing
I began running Acappella singing workshops in 1996 following years of training and working as an Alexander Technique teacher, and simultaneously working with inspiring singing teachers such as Frankie Armstrong, Isay Barnwell, Barbara Swetina, Grisha Coleman. Organically this work has developed and grown to become a variety of choirs and singing events for all ages. I am a member of the Natural Voice Practitioner's Network (NVPN).

HeartSong Acappella Choir
Mondays, 7:45-9:15pm
At St. Richard's Church, Ashburnham Rd, Ham, Surrey, TW10
Would you like to be part of this weekly singing group, learning chants, rounds and songs with 4-part harmonies?
Songs from Africa, Europe, Taize, Eastern Europe, Gospels, Spirituals.
Songs are learnt by ear so there is no need to read music and the focus is on the enjoyment of singing together.
At the end of term there will be an informal concert. It's lots of fun do come and sing with us! All welcome
The choir runs by the term, with the first week open as a 'taster session' for newcomers. .
Winter Term: Jan. 18th - March 29th 2010 (no group 15th Feb)
Summer Term: May 10th - July 19th 2010 (no group May 3rd)
Autumn Term: 27th September - 6th December (no group 25th Oct)
Cost per term: £88/£66 concs, or by negotiation. 1st week taster session: £8. (Please pay for the whole term on the first evening.).
Forest Row Acappella Community Choir
Wednesday mornings, 9.30-11am
Holy Trinity Church Hall, Lewes Rd, Forest Row, East Sussex, RH18
Come and be part of this weekly singing group, learning chants, rounds & songs with 4-part harmonies. Songs that uplift the spirits and open the heart. Songs from Africa, Israel, Gospels, Spirituals, Taize chants. Earthy rhythms, beautiful harmonies, all learnt by ear (no need to read music).
The focus is on the experience and the enjoyment of singing together.
